Social communication
How a person connects, converses, and interprets social cues and relationships.
A thorough, compassionate evaluation to understand whether autism is part of your or your child's experience. Our assessments bring clarity, validation, and a clear path forward — at a pace that feels safe.

An autism assessment is about understanding how someone experiences the world — how they think, communicate, connect, and process their surroundings. For many people, a diagnosis brings enormous relief and self-understanding.
Our assessments are gold-standard, evidence-based, and led by experienced clinicians. We move gently and thoroughly, gathering a full picture so the outcome is accurate, meaningful, and genuinely useful.
What we explore
A comprehensive autism assessment looks across several connected areas, including:
How a person connects, converses, and interprets social cues and relationships.
Patterns of focused interests, repetition, and the comfort found in routine.
Sensitivity to sound, light, texture, and other sensory input in daily life.
A careful look at early development, milestones, and lifelong patterns.
Understanding how a person thinks, learns and uses their strengths to build a balanced picture.
How everyday challenges show up at home, school, or work, and where support may help.
The process
A clear, structured process so you always know what comes next.

More information
Every assessment is shaped around the individual. Before we begin, we take time to understand what prompted you to seek an assessment and what you're hoping to learn, so the process feels personal rather than clinical.
We use a combination of standardised tools, structured interviews, and observation, drawing on information from the people who know you or your child best. This layered approach means the outcome reflects real, everyday experiences — not just what happens in a single session.
A diagnosis is only ever the beginning. Whatever the outcome, you'll leave with a clearer understanding of yourself or your child and practical, compassionate guidance for the road ahead.
Assessments are conducted by registered psychologists trained in gold-standard, evidence-based tools.
We break sessions into manageable steps and adjust to sensory and emotional needs throughout.
We help you understand the findings and connect with the right services, funding, and next steps.
